Concord, NC— October 28, 2009—The third annual World of Outlaws World Finals featuring the World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series and the World of Outlaws Late Model Series is quickly approaching at The Dirt Track @ Lowe’s Motor Speedway in Concord, North Carolina, November 5-7. In the 11 days leading up to the three-day action packed season ender, World of Outlaws drivers will share their thoughts on what is quickly becoming one of the “Must See” marquee events of the year.

The next driver up is 20-time World of Outlaws champion Steve Kinser, who won the finale of the inaugural World Finals in 2007 and has competed in each of the previous two editions of the season ending event. He has finished sixth or better in all four of the A-Feature events during the World Finals, with three runs of fourth or better. In his career at The Dirt Track @ Lowe’s Motor Speedway, the native of Bloomington, Indiana has won twice and has finished in the Top-10 in all 20 of his starts, with 14 of those being Top-Fives, including seven runner-up finishes.

Steve Kinser, Driver of the No. 11 Quaker State Maxim:

“It’s a good show and it is a big event. They do a good job with it, and you can go down there and watch a couple of different classes of race cars with the sprint cars and late models. It’s a great show to go to and if we can catch good weather that weekend, even if it’s a little cool out, it’s still a great show. I’ve been really impressed in the two years that I have been down there and watched the show and been able to participate in it. We are pretty consistent and pretty good down there. It’s a track that kind of fits our program a little bit. It’s been a great race track the last few times we have run there. The first few times we were there the track didn’t really open up and you couldn’t get on top and run and now the last few times the track has been in great shape and you get to race on it and put on a really good race.”

The finale of the World Finals will air live on SPEED on Saturday, November 7 beginning at 8 p.m. Eastern, with Bobby Gerould on the call and Brad Doty offering expert analysis along with Shane Andrews and Erin Crocker reporting from the pit area.

On Thursday, November 5 at The Dirt Track @ Lowe’s Motors Speedway, adult tickets will be $10, with tickets for children 12-under just $5.
