THE FEUD

Last year’s debut of the Beast Race Cars “Circle Track Feud” went down to the final question! But! There was controversy, as the winning team was said to be “Loaded” (in more ways than one)! This year, we eliminate the team concept, and go to every man for himself! PLUS!!! Each Celebrity Panelist will be playing for more than just bragging rights, they’ll actually be playing for $500, which will then be donated to the charity of their choice!! The kings of historical knowledge on all things fast, will be returning!.. Indianapolis Motor Speedway Historian Donald Davidson and www.openwheeltimes.com Kevin Eckert will be tossing out the Questions & Points, in this battle for “mental” supremacy!! Also returning to help keep the train somewhat on the track, will be Jack Slash!!

As in years past, we will be utilizing some Legends of the sport, as well as some of today’s heroes! We have been fortunate to have some of the finest in the business, grace our stage over the the years, and this year will be no different as Tom Bigelow, Steve Chassey, Tracy Hines, Johnny Parsons Jr., Casey Shuman, and Steve “The Bopper” Stapp have all made commitments to The Feud! Now we are proud to add two more Celebrity/Legends to the show!!:
This year’s Feud is attempting to pit (no pun intended) the Legends vs. The Mechanics vs. Today’s Heroes, in a Cage Match for “racing mental supremacy”! Our Legends line-up being set, we are now happy to round-out “The Mechanics” line-up with a couple of, shall we say, non-spotlight type of guys.

Don Kenyon, the brother of 7-time National Midget Champion Mel Kenyon, has been involved in nine USAC Midget Car Owners titles and has fielded cars for most of his brothers 111 USAC National feature wins. From 1966 to 1974, with Don as his crew chief, Mel started in eight Indianapolis 500s and earned finishes of 3rd, 4th (twice) and 5th –without the big budgets of the big-name racers. They built and maintained their own engines and their own cars, and in 1968 they began building cars for other drivers. He has also been inducted into the Midget Hall of Fame! D.K. is now set for one the biggest challenges he’s ever faced… Beating “the Bopper”, and our next guest, in the Circle Track Feud!!

Our 3rd Mehanical Dynamo is a also a “lifer” in the sport! He has been turning the wrenches for this family operation for almost 30 years (he started young folks) :) and has wins as a Chief Wrench in USAC’s big 3 divisions, Midget, Sprint, and Silver Crown, and won the 1989 Midget Championship with his brother Russ at the wheel! The following year they were 2nd in Midget points to Jeff Gordon. Gamester was also involved in most of Russ’s 155 Silver Crown starts (tied for 3rd all-time), and was runner-up twice in that division! Pavement, Dirt, or even Concrete Floors, George Gamester has always fielded a front running car! Now joining the ranks of Car Builder with GRP Chassis, he is now set to pose a significant challenge to the other Circle Track Feud contestants!
