NATIONAL SPRINT CAR MUSEUM TO TRAVEL THE “WORLD OF WHEELS” CUSTOM CAR SHOW CIRCUIT

From NSCHOF

KNOXVILLE, IOWA – Remember that special feeling you had as a youth when you went to a custom car show over the winter and saw a real race car on display alongside all of those fancy street-legal hot rods? Well, the non-profit National Sprint Car Hall of Fame & Museum, based in Knoxville, Iowa, will be giving thousands of boys and girls that very same feeling this winter as it travels to “World of Wheels” championship auto shows in seven major Midwestern cities from January through March with its ‘to-be-raffled’ brand-new 410-cubic-inch Kistler/J&J sprint car.

The state-of-the-art winged sprint car will be on display at the following seven 2010 World of Wheels shows, which are professionally presented by the Championship Auto Shows organization:

Cincinnati, Ohio – January 8-9-10,

Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania – January 22-23-24,

Kansas City, Missouri – February 12-13-14,

St. Paul, Minnesota – February 26-27-28,

Chicago, Illinois – March 5-6-7,

Omaha, Nebraska – March 12-13-14, and

Des Moines, Iowa – March 19-20-21.

According to museum marketing manager Chuck Stowe, “We are excited about introducing kids and adults in seven major Midwestern markets to the sport of sprint car racing this winter. The J&J Auto Racing-built, Kistler-powered machine is a beauty and I think it will really stand out at these custom car shows. In fact, even standing still, it just looks wicked fast!”

Fans unable to attend these World of Wheels shows can still purchase raffle tickets by calling the non-profit National Sprint Car Museum toll-free at 1-800-874-4488. Tickets are just twenty dollars each, or six tickets for one hundred dollars. The J&J/Kistler raffle car will also be indoors at the Lucas Oil Chili Bowl Midget Nationals in Tulsa, Oklahoma, on January 12-13-14-15-16, 2010. The raffle will be held in Knoxville, Iowa, on December 17, 2010.
