Atlanta, GA – The United Speed Contest Sanction has announced the 2009 Champion’s Awards Dinner-Banquet for the Parts Plus United Sprint Car Series will be held in Memphis Tennessee at the Holiday Inn Select – Memphis East on Saturday, February 6, 2010 at 7pm.
The Parts Plus USCS Champion’s awards banquet will honor drivers and teams that finished in the top ten positions in the Parts Plus USCS National Championship division, the Mid-South Thunder regional series and the USCS Asphalt Thunder Tour paved track point standings. Terry Gray from Bartlett, Tennessee repeated as the National Champion. Gray will also be honored as the Parts plus USCS Mid-South Thunder Tour Champion. Blaze Martin from Tampa, Florida will be honored as the Parts Plus USCS Asphalt Thunder Tour Champion.
Eighteen year-old Justin Carver from Drummonds, Tennessee finished in the runner-up spot in the National and Mid-South point standings and will be honored as the Parts Plus USCS National Rookie of the Year. Jon Stinson from Memphis, Tennessee will be honored as the Parts Plus USCS Mid South Thunder Tour regional series Rookie of the Year.
The banquet will be in conjunction with the Rislone USCS Modified Touring Series and USCS Modified Weekly Racing Series banquets. All drivers, car owners, team members and interested race fans are invited to the USCS Champion’s Awards Dinner-Banquet on Feb. 6th.
