Racing Season Begins This Friday for Early Bird Winners – National Sprint Car Hall of Fame & Museum

Knoxville, Iowa (January 3, 2010) — With the drop of the green flag this Friday night at Volusia Speedway Park, the 2010 World of Outlaws sprint car season will begin and so will the racing season for lucky raffle ticket holders who have purchased chances on the 2010 National Sprint Car Hall of Fame J&J Chassis / Kistler Engines raffle car.

Six tickets have been drawn from those persons who purchased their raffle tickets for the 2010 raffle car before the “Early Bird” deadline, December 31st, 2009. This Friday night Barry Van Brocklin from Ormond, Florida and three other guests will be in the stands at Volusia Speedway Park as Barry owned the ticket drawn for the ticket package provided by the World Racing Group for the 2010 World of Outlaws sprint car season opener.

Clint Schlofeldt of Snohomish, Washington held the second ticket drawn and will receive a ticket package to attend the 2010 “Jim Raper Memorial Dirt Cup” held at Skagit Speedway – Alger, Washington. Dates for this year’s Dirt Cup are June 17th, 18th & 19th. The “Dirt Cup” ticket package was provided courtesy of Steve Beitler, owner and promoter at Skagit Speedway.

The third “Early Bird” ticket drawn belonged to Ryan Vanpelt, from Marietta, Ohio. Ryan and his friends will enjoy seats at the 27th Annual “Kings Royal” courtesy of Eldora Speedway. This year’s Kings Royal is schedule for July 16th & 17th. When contacted about his winning ticket, Ryan was happy that he attended last year’s event; as he purchased his winning ticket there.

Randy Cox from Kannapolis, North Carolina was the fourth winner in the “Early Bird” ticket package drawing. Randy and his guests have won a ticket package to the 29th Annual “Don Martin Memorial Silver Cup”. The Silver Cup is held at the Lernerville Speedway – Sarver, Pennsylvania and this year’s date is July, 20th. These tickets are again complements of the World Racing Group.

Ticket number five belonged to Marc Wittstruck who lives in Martell, Nebraska. Marc’s ticket package will be good for seats during the 2010 Williams Grove “National Open” for the World of Outlaws sprint cars. This year’s Open will be held on October, 1st and 2nd. Williams Grove Speedway is located in Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania and Marc’s tickets were provided Williams Grove Speedway.

The final 2010 “Early Bird” ticket drawn, ticket number six belonged to Larry Ryther. Larry lives in Versailles, Missouri and bought his winning ticket at the Missouri State Fair Speedway last summer. Larry and his friends will be the guests of the “Dirt Track” at Charlotte Motor Speedway for the 2010 World of Outlaws “World Finals”. The dates for this year’s “World Finals are November 4th, 5th & 6th.

The National Sprint Car Hall of Fame & Museum wish to congratulate our “Early Bird” winners. Their winning tickets have already been returned to the hopper, keeping them eligible to win the 2010 Raffle Car. As a reminder, the National Sprint Car Hall of Fame & Museum traveling display will be touring events all across America displaying the raffle car and selling chances for this year’s drawing to be held at the National Sprint Car Hall of Fame & Museum on December 17th.
