Atlanta, GA – January 29, 2010 – The United Sprint Car Series 2009 Southern Thunder awards ceremony and 2010 pre-season meeting are scheduled for Saturday, February 13th at 7pm. in the banquet hall at Elliot’s Barbecue in Matthews, North Carolina. The event was previously from Saturday, January 30th due to the snow storm on that weekend.
The Parts Plus USCS Champion’s awards ceremony will honor drivers and teams that finished in the top ten positions in the Parts Plus USCS Southern Thunder regional series and will recognize drivers who finished in the top of the standings in the 2009 USCS Asphalt Thunder Tour paved track point standings.
Terry Gray from Bartlett, Tennessee captured the 2009 regional series Championship. Blaze Martin from Tampa, Florida is the 2009 Parts Plus USCS Asphalt Thunder Tour Champion. Brandon Rekow from Moorsville, North Carolina will be honored as the Parts Plus USCS Mid South Thunder Tour regional series Rookie of the Year.
