By Pete Walton

Atlanta, GA – March 13, 2010 – The Fayetteville, Georgia based United Sprint
Car Series presented by Goodyear has released a schedule of 12 nights of
racing on paved ovals for its 2010 season . The paved track events are
incorporated into the series as part of the USCS Southern Thunder Tour
regional schedule . The series will additionally host 40+ winged sprint car
races on dirt ovals in 2010.

Tracks included on the pavement portion of the schedule are Anderson Motor
Speedway in Anderson, South Carolina , Hickory Motor Speedway in Newton,
North Carolina, Lanier National Speedway in Braselton, Georgia, Lonesome
Pine Raceway in Coeburn, Virginia and Watermelon Capital Speedway in
Cordele, GA.

USC Founder and President, Pete Walton stated that.”The United Sprint Car
Series only raced four times on pavement in 2009, but renewed interest in
the events by both race teams and race fans helped us to decide to rev the
schedule and the competition back up to its previous levels. We have a great
dirt schedule forhe 2010 season and the pavement events just compliment what
we are doing in a nine state area for our teams and the fans.”

The series kicks off the pavement portion of the racing schedule with a
double-header weekend at two 3/8 mile paved ovals just one and one half
hours apart on the same weekend. The USCS Southern Thunder Tour season
opener visits Anderson Motor Speedway on Friday, April 9th and travels to
Lanier National Speedway on Saturday, April 10th. Each race pays $2000 to
win.
