1st night of Attica Spring Nationals called off; second night still on

ATTICA, Ohio – Attica Raceway Park officials have cancelled the first night of the HD Supply Spring Nationals, set for Friday, April 9, due to rain and cold temperatures. However, the forecast looks much more promising for night number 2 – Saturday, April 10 – featuring the O’Reilly All Star Circuit of Champion Sprint Cars, the Fultz Fabrications and Speed Shop UMP Late Models and the Fremont Fence 305 Sprints.

“They are calling for rain in the morning Friday with a strong west wind blowing right into the stands and temperatures falling into the 30s that night… we didn’t want to put our teams and fans through all of that after they showed us such tremendous support on opening night,” said Attica Operations Director Rex LeJeune.

“Saturday’s forecast looks much better with temperatures in the 60s. So fans will get to see three division,” LeJeune added.

Gates will open Saturday at 3:30 p.m. with racing underway at 7 p.m.
