Atlanta, GA – The United Sprint Car Series presented by Goodyear www.uscsracing.com kicks off the dirt-track portion of its 2010 Southern Thunder Tour with a double-header dirt track weekend at two popular 3/8 mile red clay ovals in North and South Carolina just two hours apart. On Friday, April 23rd the USCS competes at Carolina Speedway www.carolinaspeedway.net in Gastonia, North Carolina. The following evening on Saturday April 24th the USCS Outlaw Thunder Tour winged sprint car series completes the “Carolina Thunder” double-header weekend at Travelers Rest Speedway www.trspeedway.net in the Greenville, South Carolina suburb of Travelers Rest, South Carolina. Both events pay $2000 to win.
