In this week’s episode of “Inside the UMSS” on midwestracingtalk.com John Nelson sets the record straight regarding his 2010 plans. Next in our weekly lineup Brad Barickman tells us how he got his start in racing, about being named the Rookie of the Year at Eagle Raceway before relocating to Minnesota and about the tough Sprint Car competition in Nebraska where Brad raced against drivers such as Don Droud Jr. and Billy Alley. Finally John Morris tells us what we can expect to see when the the Micro Sprint League of the Upper Midwest Sprint Car Series takes to the track at Kopellah and Elko. These exciting scaled down Sprint Cars attain speeds of 100mph and a complete car can be purchased and maintained at a more reasonable price than many of the classes that race at our area tracks. Faster, cheaper and a bigger thrill to drive, who wouldn’t want to find out more about this growing class of open wheel machines.
