J&J RACERS CONTINUE WINNING WAYS

McKENZIE, TN (May 26) – J&J Auto Racing teams won races all across the map in Sprint car action last weekend. Cam Smith scored his first win in the state of Washington, while Tommy Worley, Jr. was victorious in the Show-Me State and TJ Luedke was a Wisconsin winner.

SKAGIT SPEEDWAY

Cam Smith captured his first victory of the season in Saturday night’s feature at Skagit Speedway. Smith raced the Dave Smith Motorsports No. 17 Shark powered J&J into the lead on lap five and then again on lap 12. He went on to lead the next 13 laps to score his first career triumph at Skagit.

ST. FRANCOIS COUNTY RACEWAY

Tommy Worley, Jr. scored the $2000 top prize on Saturday night at St. Francois County Raceway in Farmington, Mo. Worley raced the KJ Motorsports No. a12 J&J from the fourth starting position and seized control of the race following a late restart. The remarkable part of the victory is that Worley’s J&J car was powered by 360 engine while most of his competitors were utilizing 410 powerplants.

MIDWEST SPRINT ASSOCIATION

TJ Luedke continued his early season success in the Midwest Sprintcar Association. Luedke led laps 5 through 25 to capture his second win of the season at Sheboygan County Fairgrounds.

Other solid J&J finishes: Travis Elliott nearly scored a major early season victory in Friday night’s 25-lap American Sprint Car Series Lone Star feature event at Texarkana 67 Speedway. Elliott took the lead midway through the feature event behind the wheel of the No. 15T J&J and held that position until the final two circuits and he ended up fourth.
