SELINSGROVE, Pa. – Selinsgrove Speedway will host four division programs
featuring the 358 sprint cars, late models, pro stocks, and roadrunners, on
the weekly Saturday night racing cards through the remainder of June.

Beginning this Saturday, June 12, the speedway will switch to its 7:30 p.m.
summer start time. Track gates will open at 5 p.m.

Headlining the Saturday, June 19, program will be the Joe Whitcomb Memorial
for 358 sprint cars in addition to the rescheduled Roadrunner 20. To round
out of the month, PEPSI will be the title sponsor of the four division show
on Saturday, June 26.

With the season quickly approaching the halfway point, TJ Stutts of
Liverpool holds a slim 20-point lead in the A&A Auto Stores 358 sprint car
standings over Blane Heimbach of Selinsgrove. The 358 sprint car division’s
five feature winners this season currently occupy the top five positions in
the standings, with Pat Cannon of Etters, defending champion Nate Snyder of
Halifax, and Colby Womer of Mt. Pleasant Mills rounding out the top five.

Jeff Rine of Danville still holds a commanding 300-point lead in the Lyon’s
Auto & Truck Service Center late model standings over Steve Campbell of
Danville. Rine’s five-race winning streak came to end this past Sunday when
Nick Dickson of Lewistown won the 40-lap late model speedweek series event
at the track.

In the Salem RV Center pro stock division, AJ Stroup of Evendale has a
40-point lead over Dave Brouse Jr. entering this weekend’s racing action.
Defending champion Jason Smith of Williamsport, the division’s only repeat
winner with three victories this season, is currently third in the
standings.

Two-time winner Brad Mitch of McClure holds an 80-point lead over Ricky
Bender of Jolliett in the Collier Paving & Construction/Byers Built Engines
roadrunner standings. Bender, an eight-time winner in 2009, is still
seeking his first checkered flag of the 2010 season.
