SELINSGROVE, Pa. — Selinsgrove Speedway will return to racing action at
7:30 p.m. this Saturday, June 26, with a four division program of 358
sprint cars, late models, pro stocks, and roadrunners sponsored by the
PEPSI Bottling Group of Selinsgrove.

The 2010 season marks PEPSI’s 31st year as “The Official Drink of
Selinsgrove Speedway.” PEPSI representatives will be handing out product
samples to fans as well as giving away a grand prize of one case of PEPSI
per week for a full year to one lucky fan. Additional prizes from PEPSI
this year will include four tickets each to Knoebels Amusement Resort,
Hershey Park, and Pocono International Raceway. Track gates will open at 5
p.m.

With his fourth victory of the season last Saturday night, Pat Cannon of
Etters has taken the lead in the A&A Auto Stores 358 sprint car point
standings at Selinsgrove Speedway. Cannon, who also leads the Hoosier Tire
Central PA 358 Sprint Car Series standings, is the division’s only repeat
winner this season. Trailing Cannon by 75 points is Blane Heimbach of
Selinsgrove entering this weekend’s race.

In the Lyons Auto & Truck Service Center late models, Jeff Rine of Danville
holds a 530-point lead over Dave Zona of Montrose. Like Cannon, Rine is the
late model division’s only repeat winner with five consecutive victories at
Selinsgrove this season.

Dave Brouse Jr. of Beavertown has a 60-point lead over AJ Stroup of
Evendale in the Salem RV Center pro stock standings, while Brad Mitch of
McClure holds a 100-point lead over Scott Dunham Jr. of Selinsgrove in the
Collier Paving & Construction/Byers Built Engines roadrunner division.

Selinsgrove Speedway will kick off the month of July with two special
events for sprint cars. On Saturday, July 3, Middleswarth Potato Chips will
be the title sponsor of the annual Firecracker 30 for 358 sprint cars. The
following night, Sunday, July 4, the speedway will host the Jan Opperman
Memorial/PA Speedweek Series finale for 410 sprint cars sponsored by Mach 1
Chassis.

Selinsgrove Raceway Park will present a program of go kart and micro sprint
car racing at 7 p.m. Friday, June 25. Track gates this Friday will open at
5:30 p.m. For the holiday weekend, the one-fifth mile track will host the
annual Firecracker Special for go karts at 6 p.m. Friday, July 2, sponsored
by Middleswarth Potato Chips. Track gates will open at 4 p.m.

There will be no racing at the speedway the weekend of July 9-10 for the
summer break. Racing action will resume the weekend of July 16-17. For the
