BLOOMINGTON, Ind., Tuesday, June 29, 2010 – For the 25th straight year, Bloomington Speedway promoters Mike and Judy Miles will celebrate the 4th of July Weekend with racing fans by presenting a giant, aerial fireworks display and championship racing in three classes this Friday night, July 2.

Bloomington Power Sports Night has become a tradition among southern Indiana racing fans creating one of the biggest nights of the year at Bloomington Speedway.

After a full night of racing with the Grimes Pools & Spas Sprint Cars, the O’Neal Wood Products UMP Modifieds and the Tire and Wheel Center UMP Indiana Super Stocks, fireworks will light up the sky above Bloomington Speedway’s ¼-mile oval.

Spectator gates for Bloomington Power Sports Night open at 5:30 p.m., hot laps are at 6:30 with racing beginning at 7:30. General admission is $12 for adults, and kids under 12 are always FREE general admission at Bloomington Speedway with a general admission paying adult.
