Elite Racing and Allstar Performance Pair Up for Knoxville Nationals

From All Star Performance

The Knoxville Nationals is the most prestigious event in winged 410
sprint car racing and is the closest thing to an all-star event that these
drivers and teams experience. Therefore, it only seems natural that Jason
Meyers and his Elite Racing team would team up with an Allstar brand for the
upcoming 50th anniversary running of the famed Knoxville Nationals. The
Elite Racing Team and driver Jason Meyers announced today that it will
partner with Allstar Performance, a division of Lane Automotive, for the
2010 Knoxville Nationals coming up August 11-14.

Meyers’ partnership with Allstar Performance began 6 years ago after his
first visit to the Lane Automotive facility in 2004. Following the visit,
Meyers decided to run an Allstar decal on his car that evening in an effort
to show the team’s appreciation for the hospitality and support that they
had been showed by the Lane Group. Since that evening, the two have worked
side-by-side, not only to strengthen the #14 car’s program, but to further
develop and improve the Allstar Performance product line. Meyers has worked
closely with the employee group at Allstar Performance for six years now to
improve and enhance their product offerings. As a result of this
partnership, Allstar has utilized the latest technology and information to
produce cutting edge components throughout the line. “When we met Jason, the
first thing he offered was his assistance to enhance our products, which is
what we are all about. We decided to get involved with the Elite Racing Team
because of how he approached us, which involved more of a partnership rather
than just sponsorship support” stated company principal, Doug Lane.

Located in Watervliet, Michigan, Allstar Performance has been integral in
the success Elite Racing has had this season, providing the team with high
quality parts and service. Allstar Performance is one of the divisions of
Lane Automotive, which also includes Motor State Distributing and Lane
Collectables. Allstar Performance assures that each part has gone though a
rigorous research and development program and is ready for use in the
extreme applications of the racing world. Once a need for a particular part
is established, Allstar Performance designs, manufactures, and tests the
component before adding it to the product lineup. Each part is designed and
produced by talented craftsmen, many of whom are racers themselves and know
exactly what is required. The entire line of Allstar Performance products
are available worldwide from an extensive network of parts dealers, chassis
builders and engine shops, who can provide the parts and service necessary
for any racing or automotive performance project.

Allstar Performance provides one-of-a-kind parts to Elite Racing to help
make the team successful at the track. “Our relationship with Allstar
Performance and Lane Automotive has allowed us to refine and further develop
our race team into what it is today,” Elite Racing driver Jason Meyers
stated. “Allstar Performance’s devoted team of employees provide high
quality parts at an affordable price to racers across the country. Lane
Automotive and Allstar Performance are simply “racers helping racers.” We
are very proud to be part of the Lane group and we are excited about our
partnership for the 50th running of the Knoxville Nationals.”

Over the next month leading up to the historic running of the 50th Knoxville
Nationals, there will be a series of exciting announcements made about Elite
Racing/Allstar Performance partnership, including a brand new paint scheme
for the #14 car and a limited edition 1/18 scale die cast replica along with

release dates prior to The Nationals as we share this exciting event with
you. The 50th running of the Knoxville Nationals promises to be a thrilling
