Waynesfield Raceway Park will be back in action next Saturday night as Aesthetic Finishers presents the 2nd Annual Jack Hewitt Classic featuring the Lee’s Hydraulics Non Wing Sprints in an event co-sanctioned by the Lane Automotive Michigan Traditional Sprints. $4000 awaits the winner of this tremendous event honoring one of the all time greats in racing. The “Road to the Hewitt Classic” series points champion will be crowned on this night as well. In 2009, Matt Westfall held off a charging Jon Stanbrough to win the 1st Annual Jack Hewitt Classic. Will Matt be able to defend his crown, or will Stanbrough return to finish the job and pick up the big payday?
Jack will be in attendance and one lucky fan will get “The Ride of a Lifetime” as they will strap in the back of the Hewitt Racing #21 two seater sprint car and start the A Main!
The Fowler and Hadding 1000cc Mini Sprints, Miracle Motorsports Tuff Trucks and JR and Sons Service Center Compacts will also be in action. Double features for the Compacts, as we will complete the A Main that was interuppted by rain on July 24th.
General Admission will be $18 for ages 16 and older, $6 for ages 11 to 15, kids 10 and under get in FREE! Pit passes $30 for all ages.
