TULSA, Okla. (August 23, 2010) – With the end of the 2010 season rapidly approaching, the ASCS Patriots return to the Stateline Speedway to decide another leg of the Five Crown Tour.

The Insinger Race Fuels King of the Southern Tier Series will be concluded this Saturday at Stateline Speedway located just south of Jamestown, NY. It is a track that has been friendly to each of the top five in Patriot points, making this event a wide-open one.

Bryan Howland, of Auburn, NY, not only leads the overall standings by 67 points, the three-time champion also holds a healthy 26 point advantage in the King of the Southern Tier Standings. Howland, the only driver to win multiple Patriot shows at the 1/3-mile oval, needs only to finish in the top-five to capture his second crown of the season.

Bubba Broderick, from Brookfield, CT, won the Patriot show at Stateline back in June, his second win of the year. Stateline has perhaps been Broderick’s best track since he started running there in 2008. The 20-year-old sits second in Southern Tier standings and will need some help to claim his first crown.

Jared Zimbardi, from nearby Little Valley, NY, won the Patriot event last year at the site of the inaugural Patriot show. “The Juice” has struggled overall of late but hopes to continue his string of solid performances at Stateline.

Tim Kelly, of Rock Stream, NY, now sits third in the Patriot standings heading into the site of his last two sprint car wins. Kelly was the winner there in 2002 and 2003 and is hoping to break back into Victory Lane after finishing the last six features in the top-10.

Don Adamczyk, from Williamsville, NY, is the only driver in the top-five of the standings not to win at Stateline, but it is one of his best tracks. Adamczyk looks to also stay perfect for top-10 finishes in features he started this season in Patriot-only shows.

Kyle Moffit of nearby South Dayton, NY, leads a host of drivers making the short trip to head to the tight, high-banked 1/3-mile. Gary Troutman of Andover, Brad Knab of Delvean and Chris Muhleisen of Arkport are also expected.

A host of rookies are also anticipated at this final full-point race this season in New York State. Dylan Swiernik, Ross Vleck, Bob Reis and Todd Hoddick are planning on attending this Saturday. There also could be first-time competitors there this Saturday including local Jay Groves and Kyle Lefelhoc.

Look for Bruce DeWick, Travis Cunningham, Dave Wickham, Stan Zanchin and others to also head to the New York/ Pennsylvania line on Saturday.
