World of Outlaws Point Leader Jason Meyers to Appear on Wind Tunnel on SPEED this Sunday

Concord, NC-September 24, 2010- Jason Meyers, the current World of Outlaws championship point leader, will join host Dave Despain on Wind Tunnel on SPEED this Sunday, September 26 at 9 p.m. Eastern.

Meyers holds a slim three-point lead over Joey Saldana in the World of Outlaws championship standings entering a pair of races this weekend at Eldora Speedway and Lernerville Speedway, with 20-time series champion Steve Kinser third, 48 markers out of the lead and four-time and defending series champion Donny Schatz fourth, 115 markers back, making it the closest ever four-way battle for the series crown, with just eight races remaining.

Meyers has won 10 times so far this season to set a new career high with the World of Outlaws, including scoring the biggest win of his career on September 11 at Silver Dollar Speedway in his home state of California, taking the $50,000 Gold Cup Race of Champions.

The native of Clovis, California leads the series with 10 fast time honors in qualifying and leads the series in bonus points earned in time trials, which are awarded to the Top-Five in qualifying each night. He is also near the top of the leader board in laps led and Top-10 finishes as he looks to become the first driver ever from the state of California to claim a World of Outlaws title.
