AMSOIL USAC National Sprint Car point leader Levi Jones of Olney, Ill. will take a 91-point lead over Bryan Clauson into the November 4-6 “Budweiser Oval Nationals” at the Perris (Calif.) Auto Speedway in search of a record-tying fourth series championship. A title would tie him with Steve Butler, who also won four championships.

Jones gave car owner and track owner Tony Stewart a “4-Crown Nationals” feature victory in Saturday night’s 30-lap feature event at the Eldora Speedway in Rossburg, Ohio. Jones led all 30 laps in his STP/Bass Pro Shops Maxim/Kistler Chevy to beat Bryan Clauson, Damion Gardner, fast qualifier Jerry Coons Jr. and Bud Kaeding.

Jones also enjoys a healthy lead in the 2010 USAC AMSOIL National Sprint Car Dirt-track standings after his Eldora triumph.
