AKRON, Ohio (Oct. 17, 2010) – Two races remain in the 2010 World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series championship struggle and, after crisscrossing North America for the last eight months, the racers haven’t decided anything.

Jason Meyers leads the standings by 96 points over Donny Schatz. Both Steve Kinser and Joey Saldana are within striking distance. Decided? No, the whole thing is still up for grabs and will not be decided until the first weekend of November in Charlotte, N.C.

Goodyear is the Official Tiremaker for the Series and is the exclusive tire supplier for the two rear tire positions. Most teams use Goodyear tires on the front positions as well. Goodyear offers a variety of tread compounds for each event, allowing the teams to use a variety of chassis setups.

Schatz gained ground on Meyers by finishing fourth in the most recent WoO race, won by Craig Dollansky at Tri State Speedway in Haubstadt, Ind.

Saldana finished second at Tri State, followed by Paul McMahan, Schatz and Dale Blaney. Meyers came home ninth and Kinser was 10th.

Meyers leads the standings with 9,019 points. Schatz has 8,923 and is followed by Kinser with 8,919 and Saldana with 8,901.
