On Friday November 12, 2010 the Top Gun Sprints will be making their third and final appearance to the 3/8 mile D-shaped oval at Ocala Speedway for the season.
The point battle between Tim George and Ryan Partin has been very hard fought all year long; Tim has the largest lead of the season with a 28 point advantage. With 150 points up for grab each night, and with only two races left, anything can happen.
Only 80 points behind in third place is Shawn Murray, with an outside chance should the leaders falter. Danny Martin is coming on strong in 4th place with Gene Lasker rounding out the top five.
A good field of cars is expected with John Crowder, Tony Agin, Mike Schroeder, Mark Ruel, Jr. and Darrin Miller completing the top ten in points. The Grubaugh brothers, Tim & Brandon, Bruce Durden and daughter Ashlynn, Rich Pratt, Terry Witherspoon and Rich Alexander will be strong contenders.
Grandstands open at 5:00 pm with racing starting at 8:00 pm. Adult admission is $15.00 and children (12 & under) $8.00. A Family Pack (2 adult and 2 children is $35.00). Pit passes are $25.00.
Joining the Top Gun Sprints will be V-8 Thunderstocks, Mini Stock, Gladiators and Powder Puffs for the ladies.
