A double-dip of racing in ‘Sin City’ was the next race for the Big Game Treestands #7 team as they headed to The Dirt Track at Las Vegas on Wednesday for night one of the Las Vegas Nationals. ‘The Crowd Pleaser’ was looking for his first victory at the big half-mile as he has five runner-up performances including 22 top tens and 13 top fives in 42 appearances.

After the Big Game cars went 1-2 in hot laps, Dollansky powered the Karavan Trailers backed sprinter to a strong qualifying lap, stopping the clocks 5th quick with a time of 14.526 seconds. In the second heat race, Dollansky started inside the second row. With the top two finishers in the heat races transferring to the dash race, Dollansky was able to close in on Kraig Kinser in the last couple of laps and take over the 2nd place. The four pill inversion was drawn for the dash, one position short of the #7, as Dollansky would start 5th and go on to finish 5th in the 6-lap race.

Starting from inside row three in the 30-lap A-Main, Dollansky ran sixth until a caution on lap four. A strong double-file restart when racing resumed saw the Aggressive Hydraulics #7 power around the highside, around Jason Sides and Terry McCarl, and up to the fourth position. On lap 19, Dollansky worked his way into the top three as he raced past Cody Darrah. After racing was stopped by a red flag on lap 24, Jason Meyers got around the #7 on the restart as well as Darrah who got by in the last handful of laps as Dollansky would still earn a top five finish by crossing the checkers in 5th and also vault up five positions in the World of Outlaws points standings.

The Big Game Treestands #7 culminates their busy week of four races in three states on Thursday when they had back to The Dirt Track at Las Vegas for the finale of the Las Vegas Nationals.
