The MTS Sprint series has put together a 12 race schedule for 2011. This Schedule includes 9 Michigan races and 3 races in Ohio. The season opener will be the first of two Sunday races at the Millstream Speedway in Finlay Ohio. Both races at Millstream will be co-sanctioned with the road the Hewitt series. August 20th Waynesfield Raceway Park will host the second leg of the Ohio vs. Michigan Challenge races, with Butler Motor Speedway hosting the other on July 16th. Cherry Raceway will host two times in 2011 the first will be a Friday night with Merritt Raceway the next night on Saturday June 11th. The second night for Cherry will be a Sunday night race July 3rd. Merritt Speedway will have the 2nd annual Northern National Sprint tic event on August 5th and 6th. Crystal Motor Speedway will also host 2 events Sunday may 29th and the Great lakes Nationals event September 17th. MTS would also like to welcome back Owendale Speedway to the schedule September 10th.
Also added by Lane Automotive in 2011 will be a lottery for half off a new Triple X Racing Chassis at the 2011 Banquet. Drivers must race at least 75% of the races scheduled to be eligible.
