UMRA adds Tony Stewart “Smoke The Field” Challenge in 2011

By Alex Wollf

It’s no secret that race fans love a hard charger, a driver that starts deep in the field and puts on a show as he heads to the front. For over twenty years Tony Stewart has brought fans to their feet from coast to coast with his hard charging driving style. In 2011 he will reward the drivers in the UMRA that love to pass cars with the Tony Stewart “Smoke The Field” Challenge.
At each UMRA race in 2011 $50 will go to the driver that advances the most positions in the feature event. The drivers who win the $50 at a race will qualify for a cash prize at season’s end. It will give the drivers an extra incentive to get up on the wheel even more and provide race fans with even more excitement to watch for at each UMRA race this season.
Tony Stewart is known as a man who loves the sport and has never forgotten where he came from. He proves this once again in 2011 as he gives back to the UMRA where his car racing career began in 1989. The UMRA would like to thank Tony Stewart Racing for their sponsorship of this exciting program.
When the UMRA comes to a track near you this season make sure that you’re ready to jump to your feet as the drivers try to “Smoke The Field!”
