Outlaw Thunder Weekend presented by Goodyear at Eldora Speedway

By Kyle Luetters

CONCORD, N.C. – May 5, 2011 – The World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series kicks off its first swing toward the Northeast this season by invading Tony Stewart’s Eldora Speedway on Friday and Saturday for the Outlaw Thunder Weekend presented by Goodyear. It marks the only tune-up for the Outlaws before this summer’s Kings Royal weekend, where $50,000 will be on the line to the winner.

Will four-time champion Donny Schatz or defending champion Jason Meyers finally find Victory Lane in 2011? Will Lucas Wolfe rebound from his near miss on Tuesday night at Salina Highbanks Speedway to score the first World of Outlaws victory of his career? Can Steve Kinser add a fifth trophy to his 2011 display case? How will Joey Saldana fare at the track that effectively cost him the 2010 World of Outlaws title?
