Angell Park Speedway in Sun Prairie, Wisc., home of the National Midget Auto Racing Hall of Fame, hosts the Pepsi, Miller Lite “Spring Doubleheader” this weekend, with USAC’s Mopar National Midget Series and the Badger Midget Series joining for back-to-back events Saturday and Sunday nights at the 1/3-mile dirt oval.

Defending USAC Mopar National Champ Bryan Clauson and Bobby East enter the weekend in a virtual tie for the USAC point lead. Clauson won last year’s USAC Mopar title while Mike Hess is the defending BMARA Champion.

A pair of Clauson victories would tie him with Kevin Olson as USAC’s winningest drivers at Angell Park. Olson has five career wins there, while Clauson is among three drivers with three wins at the historic oval which hosted its first USAC race in 1970. Clauson scored back-to-back wins in last year’s “Hall of Fame Classic” weekend at Sun Prairie.
