ROCHESTER, NY (July 20, 2011)- Less than a week after getting rained out at Cornwall Motor Speedway, the smallest track on the PST Tour, the Patriots head to the largest and fastest track for one of this year’s marquis events.

The Patriot Sprint Tour (PST) joins forces with the United Racing Company (URC) and Empire Super Sprints (ESS) this Friday and Saturday Night at Rolling Wheels Raceway Park in Elbridge, NY for the Fast Track Sprint Car Summer Shootout. The weekend will include two complete and separate events, with Saturday’s 25-lap A-Main paying a handsome $3,000 to the winner.

This highly-anticipated weekend was lost to rain on both nights, building the excitement for this year’s shows. This will also be the first points-paying at Rolling Wheels event for the Patriots since 2007.

Jared Zimbardi of Little Valley, NY enters the weekend with the PST Point Lead. Zimbardi scored his second series win of the year last Saturday at the Brockville Ontario Speedway and is excited to see how he stakes up on the 5/8-mile oval this weekend.

Tim Kelly of Rock Stream, NY is second in points and is eager to attack an event close to home. Scott Kreutter of Alden, NY has been red-hot of late and looks to keep things rolling at The Wheels.

This weekend will be a chance for four-time PST Champion Bryan Howland to showcase his talents in front of many family and friends just minutes from his Auburn, NY residence. Howland scored a breakout win at RWR in 2005 and has been a factor there every since.

Don Adamczyk, Brad Knab, Mitch Brown, Steve Collins and Shayne Ely are other top-10 Patriots expected to be on hand this weekend. Just some of the other Patriots that should in competition include Vern Wasson, Dave Wickham, George Suprick, Jeff Frasier, Dylan Swiernik and Devin Caron.

Any competitor with a Patriot Membership will receive 50 points for competing this weekend. Those points will also count towards the A-Verdi Storage Containers King of Upstate New York Series Crown.

Racing action gets underway at 7:00 P.M. on both nights. Saturday’s event includes a group time trial session to set the starting lineups for heat race action. For more information, visit www.PatriotSprintTour.com.
