KNOXVILLE, IOWA (August 8, 2011) – The National Sprint Car Hall of Fame & Museum’s “Sprint Car 101 – Third Thursday Series’ program on Thursday, August 18, will feature veteran Knoxville sprint car racers Travis Cram, Jaymie Moyle and Chris Walraven. The program, which is free and open to the public, will include interviews with all three drivers about their individual driving careers, as well as a group discussion with the trio on the costs of sprint car racing today.

Said museum curator Tom Schmeh today, “While most of our attention recently has been on the Knoxville Nationals and the Iowa Speed Week, we haven’t forgotten about our popular Sprint Car 101 series of programs. I am excited that Travis, Jaymie and Chris have all agreed to be interviewed about their lives and racing careers, as each has had an impact on the Knoxville scene for years. And I am also interested in learning about their opinions on the costs involved in sprint car racing, from their first days in the sport until now. Hopefully we will be able to stream the live video for race fans across the country and in Australia, like we did on our evening with David Hesmer recently.”
