McCool Junction, NE — (June 22, 2012) — Two time and defending ASCS Midwest champion Jack Dover has found his groove.

The Springfield, Nebraska native snared his second consecutive Speedway Motors ASCS Midwest Region victory at Junction Motor Speedway in McCool Junction, Nebraska.
Starting eighth in the initial lineup, Dover powered up to the second spot while embroiled in a sensational four car battle with Ryan Roberts, Trevor Grossenbacher, and North Dakota native Lee Grosz.

Grosz began the 25 lap main event with the early lead before Don Droud Jr. shot by for the lap 3 lead. Droud set the pace throughout the event, with Dover at times reaching the leader only to suffer the same complications with lapped traffic as the leader.

Droud circled Junction’s 3/8 mile oval with nearly a straightaway advantage when disaster struck as the rear end gave out with three laps remaining. Dover assumed command and rode unchallenged to his second Midwest win of the season aboard the Roush Yates powered Certified Transmissions, Home Pride, and Oil Medics sponsored no. 53.

Ryan Roberts earned the runner up nod with Jordan Boston stealing the show position on the final lap from fourth place finisher Trevor Grossenbacher. Lee Grosz completed the top five finishing order. Norfolk, Nebraska’s Seth Brahmer earned Hard Charger status with a run from 15th to sixth. Grosz and Dover took heat race wins over the 15 car field.
