Bell Tops Night One at Jones Motor Speedway

– Chatham, Louisiana (July 6, 2012) Drawing the inside of the third row, Cordova, Tennessee’s Brian Bell lead the greater portion of Friday night’s 25 lap feature event on rout to victory with the Griffith Truck and Equipment Gulf South Region at Jones Motor Speedway in Chatham, Louisiana.

Taking the lead on lap five, Bell went uncontested to the checkered flag with Ray Allen Kulhanek earning the Weld Wheel Hard Charger Award; climbing seven spots to finish second. Rounding out the podium was tenth starting Aaron Reutzel.

Pole sitter, and early leader, Brandon Berryman would fade to fourth with Greg Rilat rounding out the top five. Chris Sweeney, Travis Elliot, Wes Miller, Tommy Bryant, and Beau Smith completed the top ten.

Racing for the Griffith Truck and Equipment ASCS Gulf South Region continues Saturday with night No. 2 at Jones Motor Speedway.
