July 22, 2012 – Enid, Oklahoma – Danny Jennings made a clean sweep of weekend racing activities for the National Championship Racing Association of Park City, Kansas presented by Precise Racing Products 360 sprint car division as he led start to finish in picking up the victory as the tour made a stop atop the Garfield County Fairgrounds and Enid Speedway in Enid, Oklahoma Sunday night in an event sponsored by Martens Machine Shop out of Fairview, Oklahoma.

Jennings started on the pole for the twenty-five lap feature and out ran fellow front row starter Ty Williams to take the lead as the green flag fell. Third starting Jordan Weaver, making her best career feature start, moved into the runner up spot followed by Williams, Jeremy Campbell and Luke Cranston.

Jennings, aboard his familiar #1j Goodyear Racing/Butlerbuilt Seats/Lucas Oil sponsored Wesmar powered Maxim chassis, wasted little time putting distance between himself and the rest of the field as he opened up a commanding half straight away lead by lap two.

Starting tenth, current series points leader C.J. Johnson quickly moved to the top of the three-eighths mile oval and made his way into the top five by lap two, then moved past Weaver into the runner up position by lap three. By then Jennings had opened up a full stretch lead.

The leader approached lapped traffic on lap five and this allowed Johnson to close the distance to just a ten car length deficit. But Jennings had no problems working the slower cars and would go on to take the half straight away $2000 victory.

“We knew we had to get out front and keep it there,” according to Jennings, who now has eight career series victories to his resume. “I knew the track would rubber up so we were a bit conservative with our tires but there was no problem with them. This Good Year Racing team is going good right now and I am just enjoying it while it lasts.”

Johnson would settle for second while Campbell, who came into the night second in the point standings to Johnson, would finish third. Weaver finished a career best fourth while Cranston rounded out the top five.

Jason Martin, Williams and Weaver had won the three, ten lap heat races but Martin would be disqualified for not reporting to the scales. Jennings would be declared that heat race victory.

The next event for the NCRA 360 sprint car series will be the tours annual stop at the beautiful Dodge City Raceway Park in Dodge City, Kansas on Saturday night, August 11th.

The series would like to take this time to thank their sprint car division partners and sponsors for the 2012 race season:
