Davis Takes Canyon Summer Slam

Peoria, AZ — (July 28, 2012) — Charles Davis Jr. raced to his fourth ASCS Canyon Region victory of 2012 this past Saturday in the Summer Slam at Canyon Speedway Park in Peoria, Arizona.

Climbing from fifth, the “Buckeye Bullet” not only grabbed the win but the points lead by seven as R.J. Johnson managed a runner up finish with Rick Ziehl completing the podium. Josh Pelky and Bob Ream Jr. made up the drivers in the top five. Bruce St. James, Brian Hosford, Michael Curtis, Michael Bonneau, and Darrell Sickles completed the top ten.
