USCS announces four “Red Dirt Rumble” Labor Day weekend races from Friday 8/31 through Monday, September 3rd

Atlanta, GA – August 21, 2012 – The United Sprint Car Series Outlaw Thunder Tour presented by Goodyear “Red Dirt Rumble” 2012 Labor Day weekend mini-series for winged sprint cars is set with four races over four evenings from Friday, August 31st through Monday, September 3rd at tracks no more than one and one half hour apart.

The holiday weekend mini-series fires into action at the 3/8 mile Boyd Speedway (www.boydsspeedway.net) in the Chattanooga suburb of Ringgold, Georgia with Round One on Friday, August 31, 2012. This 30-lap main event will pay $2000 to win. The track has witnessed record crowds over the last four seasons for USCS Outlaw Thunder Tour annual events.

On Saturday night, September 1st of the Labor Day Holiday weekend the traveling mini-series moves part way across the state of Georgia to Sugar Creek Raceway (www.sugarcreekraceway.us) in Blue Ridge, Georgia for the mini-series Round Two. This will be the one and only 2012 season visit for the series to the 3/8 mile red clay oval set in the North Georgia mountain country. The winner’s portion for winning the main event at SCR will be $2000 as well.

The USCS Red Dirt rumble 2012 next stop will be at historic Toccoa Speedway in Toccoa, Georgia on Sunday, September 2nd for the series second visit to the D-Shaped 1/3 mile red clay oval located inside the city limits of Toccoa. The USCS National point’s leader Tim Crawley from Benton, Arkansas won on the series first visit on April 14th.

The Red Dirt Rumble 4 night mini-series wraps up with a trip to the bullet quick high-banked quarter-mile red clay racing surface of Tri County Racetrack in Brasstown, North Carolina on Labor Day Monday, September 3rd. The finale will also pay $2000 to win.

Each night’s main event pays $2000 to win. The winner of the nightly Goodyear Speed Dash also collects $100.

Contingency Awards are also presented on top of cash awards. Each night’s main event will pay at least $250 to finish last with $150 guaranteed to non-qualifiers or non-starters who make an honest attempt to race each night. Any drivers who compete all four nights and start all four main events are guaranteed $1200 for the weekend’s events including accumulated winnings for the four events.
