From J&J

MCKENZIE, TN (Aug. 28) – It was another solid weekend of results for J&J Auto Racing teams at dirt tracks across the country. Danny Holtgraver, Tyler Bear and Jim Morris scored flag-to-flag wins while Tyler Drueke, Kevin Ramey and Cam Schafer were also recent J&J winners.

LERNERVILLE SPEEDWAY

2011 Lernerville Track Champion Danny Holtgraver enjoyed his return to Lernerville Speedway last Friday night by racing his No. D4 J&J to victory. The last time the youngster circled the half-mile oval was during the annual World of Outlaws Silver Cup event, where he raced from 19th to second. Friday night, he started on the pole and built a commanding lead until a caution slowed his progress toward victory on lap 23. He controlled the restart as well and went on to claim his third victory at Lernerville in 2012.

PORT ROYAL SPEEDWAY

It was a J&J runaway in the 305 Sprint class at Port Royal’s Open Wheel Madness last weekend. Tyler Bear was pretty a man on a mission racing the No. 25 J&J into the lead at the start and led every lap en route to his fourth victory of 2012.

MERCER RACEWAY PARK

In the 305 division, Jim Morris piloted the MBR No. 16 J&J into the lead at the start and was only slowed by a pair of cautions. Morris drove to his third victory of the season at Mercer Raceway Park.

Mercer also hosted the All-Star Circuit of Champions Saturday and Holtgraver (No. D4 J&J) set quick time and finished second in the main event. ASCoC point leader Tim Shaffer finished third driving the CH Motorsports No. 83 J&J.

IMCA 360 Sprints

Cam Schafer picked up his third victory of 2012 on August 14 at Arlington (Minn.) Speedway. Schafer raced the No. 54 J&J to the winner’s circle.

HOLT COUNTY SPRINTS

Tyler Drueke continued his impressive season with another Nebraska victory behind the wheel of the No. 12 J&J. Drueke was scheduled to run at Eagle Raceway, but Mother Nature forced them to another dirt track and the youngster picked up his second consecutive Holt County Sprints triumph. This one came at Riveria Raceway in Norfolk, Nebraska.

COWTOWN SPEEDWAY

Kevin Ramey was victorious last Saturday at Cowtown Speedway driving the No. 1A J&J to victory in the RaceSaver 305 Sprint feature.
