Must See Racing Proposes Speed Trial Shootout at Winchester

Holly, MI — (September 6, 2012) — The Must See Racing X-Treme Sprint Car Series has sent out a letter trying to raise support for a co-sanctioned event with the Hoosier Outlaw Sprint Series and Auto Value Super Sprints at Winchester Speedway for 2012 dubbed the “Speed Trial Shootout”.

In a letter sent out on Thursday Must See Racing proprietor Jim Hanks proposed a 15 car event to be held on Sunday May 19, 2013 with each representing sanctioning body using their spec tires that would feature a practice sessions and then a qualifying session where a team winner would be determined.

“I believe the race fans and the racing industry media will have great interest in this intra series challenge, ” said Hanks.  “I will extent this invitation in the media to positively enforce your anticipated cooperation and to maximize the Speed Trial Shootout excitement and awareness.”

The Speed Trial Shootout would also be produced as part of the television package Must See Racing does each season with all of the series sharing in the exposure.
