From URCJust recently, URC announced that they will be returning to Bedford Speedway on May 10 with a return stop to Winchester VA on June 22. Although the event was a rain out in 2012, URC finds the Potomac Speedway in Budds Creek, MD on the schedule again in 2013.
The Hagerstown Speedway in Hagerstown, MD is the most recent new addition to the schedule with a URC event booked on Saturday night, June 8.
URC is pleased to announce that they will also be part of the Selinsgrove Speedway September 28 event that will pay $8,000 to win the 40 lap 358/360 Sprint Challenge. URC will also be at Selinsgrove for the 8th Annual Jack Gunn Memorial paying $3,500 to win on Saturday night, May 11 and a URC stand-alone show at Selinsgrove is set for Saturday night, August 10.
In addition, URC has secured a two race weekend that will stage the North verses the South Shoot Out. The dates and two tracks that are participating will be announced shortly.
At this time, URC has booked over twenty events for the coming season with an opportunity for several additional shows. In the coming season, URC will be returning to Black Rock, Bedford, Selinsgrove, Delaware International, New Egypt, Williams Grove, Hagerstown, Winchester, VA, Grandview, Potomac, Lincoln and Port Royal.
Defending URC Champion Robbie Stillwaggon of Burlington, NJ is looking to chase down his second Rislone Championship Title in the coming season. Stillwaggon will again be driving the Fred Kennedy owned sprint car. Stillwaggon will be an active participant at numerous off season events where URC will be present to promote their coming season. Stillwaggon, URC’s current star is anxious about the numerous promotional opportunities that will take place before URC takes the first green flag of 2013.
