Lakeville, IN — (February 7, 2013) — Hoosier Racing Tire and the American Sprint Car Series announced today the renewal of their contract through the 2017 racing season.

Under the new agreement, ASCS will continue to run the 105/16-15 Medium on the right-rear and now any Hoosier tire will be required on the left rear at all National and Regional events. The front tires will remain open to any tire brand.

“Hoosier has been the tire of choice for ASCS on the right rear wheel position since the start of the 2000 race season and on behalf of everyone at Hoosier Racing Tire we are extremely pleased to continue this long-standing relationship,” commented Neil Cowman, Hoosier Product Manager.

“We are excited to be associated with a class organization like ASCS, Emmett and the entire Hahn Family. It offers us the opportunity to showcase our products on a nationwide stage in both the U.S. and Canada,” said Paul Menting, Hoosier Sales Manager.

Emmett Hahn stated, “Hoosier Tire has provided ASCS with a quality and consistent product. Not only that, the people behind Hoosier Tire have stood behind ASCS and supported our National Tour as well as our Regions.”

Hahn added, “When everyone else jumped ship a couple years ago, we never left and have no plans of leaving. As far as I’m concerned, we race on the best tire in the market.”
