After taking the reigns for the Roth Motorsports No.83 in 2012 when the team elected to hit the road with Tim Kaeding, Kyle Hirst is pleased to announce he has signed on with the team full time in 2013 to compete for the King of The West Championship.

“I could not be more thankful for the opportunity Dennis and Teresa Roth have given me this year,” said Hirst. “We had some success last year, and I’m fortunate they have decided to give me a short. Todd Ventura and all of his guys are a pleasure to work with, and I’m ready to get started.”

This past weekend, the team spent two days at tracks testing for their upcoming season as it is right around the corner.

When the World of Outlaw tour heads to the west coast, Hirst and his team will be busy as they will compete with them during their entire 12 race trips, starting with the Dirt Track at Las Vegas on March 6th and 7th.

Following the rough and tumble WoO swing, the team will then focus their attention on going after their third straight King of the West Championship.

“When we all spoke during the winter, Todd (Ventura) said they would keep me busy, and it is definitely looking that way as I see our schedule, and I am looking forward to it,” Hirst said. “We tested this last weekend, and we have some very fast racecars.”

The team also has plans to compete against the Outlaws when they return later in the Summer, as well as hitting the big shows at the end of the season.

“It’s going to be an awesome year hitting some tracks I’ve never seen before, and competing with a first class organization,” Hirst noted.

Kyle and his Roth Motorsports team would like to thank Roth Enterprises, Mobil1, Weld Wheels, Brown and Miller Racing Solutions, Astro Titanium, 3H Cattle, Kaeding Performance, and Kent Performance Center for their support in 2013.

2013 BY THE NUMBERS: Starts-12, Wins-0, Top 5’s-3, Top 10’s-8.
