J&J’S SHINE IN TEXAS, NEW ZEALAND AND AUSTRALIA

From J&J
McKENZIE, TN – (March 4) Three J&J Auto Racing drivers were victorious in Sprint car action in North America, New Zealand and Australia this past weekend. Ray Allen Kulhanek was a winner in Texas, while Ricky Logan was victorious again in New Zealand, and Daniel Pestka scored a triumph in Australia.
ASCS GULF SOUTH
Ray Allen Kulhanek picked up an early season victory in Beaumont, Texas last Friday night winning the Prelude to the Gulf Coast Nationals. Kulhanek took the lead in the ASCS Gulf South 30-lap feature event on lap 11, passing fellow J&J racer, Sam Hafertepe, Jr. (Stapleton No. 1a J&J). Kulhanek would lead the rest of the way to pick up the victory and Hafertepe chased him to the finish and gave J&J a one-two finish.
WESTERN SPRINGS SPEEDWAY
Ricky Logan won his second straight race in New Zealand on Saturday night. The American driver raced the Lucas Oil backed No. 10 J&J to a victory at Western Springs Speedway in the Auckland Championship title race.
WESTERN SPEEDWAY
Daniel Pestka was the star of stars in Saturday night’s Eureka Garages and Sheds Sprintcar Series event at Western Australia. Despite taking four attempts to start the A-main, Pestka was able to lead the way once the race finally got underway. Maneuvering traffic in his J&J Sprint car proved to be the key as he raced to victory in the series’ opening round of the season.
