Tulare, CA — (March 11, 2013) —  The World of Outlaws STP Sprint Car Series is set to make its debut in California this weekend with a doubleheader at the famed Thunderbowl Raceway.

The hottest driver on the series right now is championship points leader Daryn Pittman, who became the first repeat winner of the season last Saturday. However, Pittman has yet to pick up a World of Outlaws STP Sprint Car Series at the third-mile track.

In 14 races since 2003, Joey Saldana leads the Outlaws with four victories at Thunderbowl Raceway. Californian Tim Kaeding, who won last season’s event, has two wins while other expectant entries of Jason Meyers, Jac Haudenschild, Donny Schatz, Sammy Swindell and Steve Kinser have each claimed one victory.

WHEN

Thunderbowl Raceway is located on the Tulare Fairgrounds at the corners of Bardsley and K Street, near 215 Martin Luther King Jr. Avenue in Tulare, Calif. Click on the link for a map (http://mapq.st/YA9Gg6).
