From Tyler Altmeyer:

Pittsburgh, PA — (March 13, 2013) — Danny Holtgraver has been more than anxious to get back behind the wheel of his Canton Erectors, Berlin Natural Bakery, no. 45 sprinter. In fact, the Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania native has been ‘off duty’ since winning the $10,000 Ronald Laney Memorial at East Bay Raceway Park in Tampa, Florida last month. Holtgraver, who pilots the B&R Racing no. 45 sprint car owned by Bryan Grove and Rob Hunter, is scheduled to resume his 2013 campaign on Friday evening, March 22nd; at the Attica Raceway Park ‘season opener’ in Attica, Ohio. The Attica oval will open it’s doors for the first time this season next Friday evening; giving racers and race fans, alike, the opportunity to take-in some short track action at one of Ohio’s most exciting venues. The non-sanctioned ‘season opener’ at Attica Raceway Park will also allow B&R Racing, lead by veteran crew chief, Brian Kemenah, an opportunity to dial-in their sprint car for the annual HD Supply Spring Nationals sanctioned by the UNOH All Star Circuit of Champions on Friday and Saturday, March 29th & 30th.

“We are ready to get back at-it!” explained Holtgraver, “Bryan Grove and Rob Hunter – along with my crew chief, Brian Kemenah – have all given me something really special…we really started to click as the weeks went on in Florida…I can’t thank them enough for this opportunity…Attica Raceway Park is a fun place and we  have had some success there…hopefully we can get up there next week for their opener and get everything figured out for the All-Star deal the following weekend… I’m really excited to get back racing again!”

Danny Holtgraver will enter Attica Raceway Park inside the top ten of the current UNOH All Star Circuit of Champions’ point standings. The three-time All Star winner in 2012 currently finds himself ninth in the ‘National’ UNOH All Star Circuit of Champions’ standings; while also ninth in the ‘Eastern’ All Star standings. Attica Raceway Park is the site of Holtgraver’s first career All Star win; which occurred during ‘Ohio Sprint Speedweek’ last summer.  Dale Blaney is the current ‘National’ All Star point leader.

The HD Supply Spring Nationals at Attica Raceway Park in Attica, OH will consist of two complete shows for the UNOH All Star Circuit of Champions. This will be the first event for the All Stars since their Georgia/Florida swing in February. The two-day spectacle will kick off on Friday night, March 29th. The program will be highlighted with a $3,000-to-win main event for the All Star ’410′ sprinters. That program will be followed by a $5,000-to-win finale on Saturday evening, March 30th. The UMP Late Models and 305 sprint cars will also be on the weekend card.
