North Vernon, IN — (February 15, 2013) — The non-wing sprint car event scheduled for Saturday at Twin Cities Raceway Park has been cancelled due to soft track conditions. Twin Cities officials posted on their Facebook page Friday night their reasoning behind the cancellation.
“At this time I regretfully say tomorrow March 16th is cancelled. The track is not completely ready. We have worked hard to provide a good racing surface. The track has a couple of soft spots. Instead putting any cars, drivers, or fans I danger I have decided to cancel.”
Twin Cities features non-wing sprint cars again on Saturday March 23rd.
