Wingless Sprint racer Mikayla Hein would like to thank team owner Robin Atkins and the Atkins Motorsport team for all of their support over the past two seasons.

The South Australian–based teenager recently parted ways with the Atkins Motorsport team. The decision to parts ways came about after Robin has decided to focus more on his son Cody’s racing and his future move into Sprintcars.

Over the two seasons, Hein has achieved some impressive results in the Wingless Sprint class, such as her rookie season where she finished fourth in the 2011–12 season Australian Title, fourth in the 2011–12 season Northern Territory Title, and numerous feature race wins and minor podium finishes in her home state.

“We’ve achieved a lot in our two seasons together, and had a lot of fun in the process,” Hein commented. “I enjoy racing and the challenge that comes with it and I have met a lot of great people in the process.”

Hein would like to say a special thanks to Mum, Dad, Pop and Michael for their continuing support and also to Kevin and Kale for their help at the Australian Title.

Special thanks must go to Danny Stewart from Sketchy Graphics for making the car look great for her last meeting.
