Pittsburgh, PA — (March 28th, 2013) — Taking into consideration that Attica Raceway Park in Attica, Ohio is the site of Danny Holtgraver’s first-career UNOH All Star Circuit of Champions’ victory, one could safely assume that the Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania native is more than anxious to return to the always-racey, 3/8’s mile oval. Holtgraver will finally get that opportunity this Friday and Saturday, March 29th & 30th, as the UNOH All Star Circuit of Champions will make a two-day visit to the Attica Raceway Park for the annual Construction Equipment & Supply/ HD Supply Spring Nationals. Some of the country’s top ‘410’ sprint car teams will be in action this weekend at the Attica oval; including current UNOH All Star Circuit of Champions’ front runners, Dale Blaney and Tim Shaffer. Holtgraver, who is now a full-time competitor with the All Stars in 2013, will once again pilot the B&R Racing, Canton Erectors, Berlin Natural Bakery, no. 45 sprint car for the upcoming doubleheader. Although the ‘45’ team has been idle for nearly one month, their last start did result in a $10,000 victory at the East Bay Raceway Park in Tampa, Florida. On that note, it is safe to say that momentum is definitely on their side.

“The weather looks to be in our favor this weekend so we’ll see what happens” said Holtgraver, “We are coming off of a pretty big win so hopefully we can keep that momentum…I love going to Attica Raceway Park…it’s a really fun place to race and we have been successful there in the past…I honestly can’t thank Bryan Grove and Rob Hunter enough for this opportunity…this team is second to none and I can’t thank them enough…Brian Kemenah does a great job with these race cars…I can’t wait to drive the ‘45’ again!”

Both Friday and Saturday, March 29th & 30th, will consist of complete shows for the UNOH All Star Circuit of Champions at Attica Raceway Park. Friday night’s program will be highlighted with a $3,000-to-win main event; followed by a $5,000-to-win finale on Saturday evening. The two-day program will also be the first event of the 2013 UNOH All Star Circuit of Champions’ ‘Ohio Region’ schedule; which includes all All Star sanctioned events in Ohio and Western Pennsylvania. Holtgraver hopes to park his Bryan Grove and Rob Hunter owned entry in Attica Raceway Park victory lane not only once, but twice this weekend. With the former Lernerville Speedway Track Champion now ninth (9th) in the current All Star ‘National’ standings, a sweep this weekend would be more than beneficial to help get the ‘45’ team back towards the top of the All Star ‘National’ and ‘Ohio Region’ standings.

“We are definitely ready to go” said Holtgraver, “Florida had some sour spots for us but we got better as the trip went on…I think we could have had a better start to the season…we struggled some at Ocala and that kind of put us behind the ball a little bit with the All Star points situation…being a new team can be tough, but everyone works really hard and everyone does their part… there is a long season ahead so hopefully we can get things going this weekend and benefit from behind back at Attica…it should be a really fun weekend!”
