Port Royal Presents Race to Cure Cancer Night

Port Royal, PA (April 8, 2013) Port Royal Speedway will present Race To Cure Cancer Night this Saturday, April 13 at 6 pm.

 

Prior to and during the races, Relay For Life teams from the Mifflin/Juniata County region will be on hand in an effort to support their causes in their upcoming relay.

 

The Mifflin/Juniata County Relay For Life is slated for June 8 and 9 at Kish Park in Lewistown.

 

And just by attending, fans will be supporting the American Cancer Society and its efforts. 

 

Port Royal Speedway will donate .50 cents from for every adult and student general admission ticket sold on the night to the State College chapter of the American Cancer Society.

 

The races will offer an exciting program of Aumiller’s Insurance 410 sprints, Gray’s Auto and Towing late models and pro stocks.

 

General admission gates open at 4 pm with practice laps slated for 5:30. 

 

Adult admission is $15 with students ages 12 – 18 just $5.

 

So far this early season, sprint features have gone to Dave Blaney and Rick Lafferty while Scott Haus and Matt Parks have taken late model mains.  Keith Garman scored the opening show for pro stocks. 

 

On April 20, Port Royal will offer FREE student general admission for those youth ages 12 – 18 while also opening up the pits prior to the races on Free Student/Camera and Autograph Night.

 

With racing action featuring the 410 sprints, late models and 305 sprints, the pit area will be open to general admission fans prior to practice laps. 

 

The All Star Circuit of Champions Sprints Bob Weikert Memorial will take center stage on April 27.
