Pittsburgh, PA (April 9th, 2013) – After spending the past two weekends racing at the Attica Raceway Park in Attica, Ohio, Danny Holtgraver will now get the opportunity to step away from the Attica oval, and make appearances at two other regional facilities. The full-time UNOH All Star Circuit of Champions’ traveler will take advantage of another ‘off week’ from the road, and make his 2013 Fremont (OH) Speedway and Lernerville (PA) Speedway debuts this Saturday and Sunday, April 13th & 14th. Interestingly enough, Holtgraver will be behind the wheel of two different ‘410’ sprint cars this upcoming weekend; with the familiar ‘D4’ making it’s 2013 debut this Sunday afternoon, April 14th, at the Lernerville Speedway. Although the Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania native commits most of his time to the driving duties of the Bryan Grove and Rob Hunter owned no.45 sprint car, Holtgraver will still make time to pilot the Dan Holtgraver owned ‘D4’ on certain occasions.

“It will be fun to get back behind the wheel of the ‘D4’ again” said Holtgraver, “We plan to race at the Fremont Speedway opener on Saturday before heading to Lernerville Speedway with the ‘D4’ on Sunday…hopefully we can earn two solid finishes this weekend…I have to thank Bryan Grove and Rob Hunter for giving me the opportunity to drive their car this season…it’s been a blast so far so hopefully we can keep it rolling!”

Danny Holtgraver will begin his upcoming weekend of competition on Saturday evening, April 13th, at the Fremont Speedway in Fremont, Ohio for their 2013 ‘Season Opener/Pepsi Night’ featuring the ‘410’ sprint cars. Holtgraver will pilot the B&R Racing, Canton Erectors, Berlin Natural Bakery, no. 45 sprint car, lead by Crew Chief, Brian Kemenah, at the Fremont oval on Saturday evening. The B&R Racing ‘45’ team will make frequent visits to Fremont Speedway in 2013; not only for UNOH All Star Circuit of Champions and World of Outlaws STP Sprint Car Series events, but also for weekly competition. With the team’s headquarters not far from the facility, it’s hard to pass up the opportunity for frequent seat time.

“I am excited to get back to Fremont Speedway” explained Danny Holtgraver, “It’s a great facility and a really racey track…with it being real close to the B&R Racing shop, it’s real easy for us to plan to go there on off Saturday’s…I see us being a regular competitor there when the All Stars are not scheduled to be anywhere else.”

The upcoming weekend will be capped off with a return to the Lernerville Speedway in Sarver, Pennsylvania for the finale of the ‘Steel City Stampede’ on Sunday, April 14th. Danny Holtgraver, who is a former Lernerville Speedway Track Champion, will be back behind the wheel of his family owned Kargo Quality Sales and Storage, Alternative Power Sources, Ambulance Information Management, ‘D4’ for the Sunday afternoon event. With preliminary action already completed for the ‘410’ sprint cars, The ‘Steel City Stampede’ will endorse a ‘feature only’ format on Sunday afternoon; with Danny Holtgraver starting from the outside of the front row. Sprint car heat races for Lernerville Speedway’s annual season ending spectacle were completed back in October during the event’s originally scheduled weekend. Holtgraver has multiple wins at the Sarver, Pennsylvania 4/10’s mile oval; including one (1) UNOH All Star Circuit of Champions victory.

“We have a had a lot of success at Lernerville in the ‘D4’ so hopefully we can continue that on Sunday” said Holtgraver, “It’s a track that is very close to our home and a lot of our fans and supporters will be there…hopefully we can put on a good show for all of our sponsors and supporters…I can’t thank my Dad enough for what he does for me…hopefully we can knock the dust off of the ‘D4’ in a good way and find victory lane!”
