Fab Four Racing Opening Night 2013 is this Friday, April 19

Sarver, PA — (April 17, 2013) — After a thrilling Sunday afternoon, evening and night of racing at the Steel City Stampede, the Heroes of Fab Four Racing are ready to take the green flag on the long and winding road towards the Fuhrer Eagle Sales/Budweiser Track Championships this Friday, April 19 on Fab Four Racing Opening Night 2013.

Opening Night 2012 was a launching point for three of the eventual 2012 Track Champions of Fab Four Racing as Kevin Schaeffer, Jared Miley and Corey McPherson all won their first Fab Four feature of the season and went on the win the Track Championship.  Brian Swartzlander was the only Track Champion not to win the Opening Night feature; New York invader and Sunday’s Kodiak Graham Memorial Feature winner Chad Brachmann won the Opening Night feature in the Diehl Modifieds.

The 2013 season started last weekend with the annual Test & Tune practice session on Saturday with over 100 cars of all shapes and sizes taking hot laps around the 4/10 mile Action Track.  And as mentioned above, the action continued on Sunday with the rescheduled finale of the DIRTcar Round Up Steel City Stampede.  Over 350 cars across 10 divisions competed in the event that started with heat races in October and concluded on Sunday with B-Mains, A-Mains and a 100-lap Enduro.

Feature winners on Sunday were Dale Blaney in the Peoples TWP 410 Sprints, Dave Hess Jr. in the Precise Super Late Models, Chad Brachmann in the BRP/Diehl Mods Kodiak Graham Memorial, Alan Dellinger in the Pic-A-Part Sportsman, Max Blair in the FASTRAK NE Late Models, Jonathan Taylor in the UEMS/UMP Modifieds, Adam Kekich in the 305 Sprints, Larry Mitchell in the 4-Cylinders, Alan Knepper in the Mod Lites and Paul Crynock III in the Enduro.

This Friday, April 19 will officially mark the beginning of the DIRTcar 410 Sprint division sponsorship by Peoples TWP.  Peoples TWP has serviced our community for decades and looks forward to being an active member in the Lernerville community including the Dollar Energy Auction on Peoples TWP Night on Friday, May 31 where we’ll raffle off Firecracker 100 and Don Martin Memorial Silver Cup tickets for just $1 per raffle ticket!

As always, gates open at 5:00 for Fab Four Racing and the green flag flies at 7:30 sharp!  Admission prices are unchanged for 2013 with adult general admission remaining at $14, seniors $10, students 11-17 $7 and as always, kids 10 & under are always admitted FREE to general admission.  Pit passes remain $20 for DIRTcar members and $30 for non-members.  DIRTcar memberships can be purchased online at www.DIRTcarMembers.com or by filling out a form at the speedway on race night or the speedway office during normal business hours Monday through Friday.
