Waco, TX —  (April 18, 2013) — Word has come down from Keith Johnson that races at the Heart O’ Texas Speedway have been given the green light.

Events at the Heart O’ Texas Speedway in Waco, Texas will take place on Friday, April 19 and promises a $2,500 bounty to the winner of the third annual Life Partners Inc. Duel on the Brazos. The night also offers $400 to start the “A” Feature. Non Qualifying drivers will receive $200 for their performance. Gates are scheduled to open at 6:00 P.M. with races beginning at 8:00 P.M. According to Johnson, all drivers will be required to make their way into the grandstands during intermission to collect monies for the victims of the West, Texas explosion.

The 2013 season marks the twenty-second year of sanctioning Sprint Car racing for the American Sprint Car Series, which brings the best of Sprint Car racing to dozens of different tracks throughout the nation and into Canada. Anchored by the Lucas Oil American Sprint Car Series, ASCS also consists of nine different Regions throughout the nation.
