(Perris, CA, April 26, 2013)    Perris Auto Speedway promoter Don Kazarian announced on Friday that the board of the Lake Perris Fairgrounds has approved overnight camping on the fairgrounds for all events at Perris Auto Speedway.  Also, the parking lot of the famous Riverside County clay oval will host tailgating for fans at all events

“We are pleased to announce that the fair board has approved overnight camping at all of our races,” Kazarian said.  “The cost is $25.00 per night and the campground, which is located on the grass area behind turn four, will open at noon the day before all of our events.  This includes all of the regular USAC/CRA, PASSCAR and Nights Detsruction as well as the July 4th Firecracker 30, United States Speedway Long Track Championship, Budweiser Oval Nationals, LoanMart Street Stock Turkey Bowl and the Turkey Night Grand Prix.”

In addition, the track is urging all fans to come out and make a day of it by tailgating.

“We also want fans to come out early and tailgate in the main spectator parking lot on the days of our events,” Kazarian said.  “Tailgating adds so much atmosphere when you go to a college or NFL football game.  Everybody makes a day of it by eating, socializing and playing games in the parking lots.  Then they carry that atmosphere into the games.  We want our fans to have the same great experience.”

Kazarian wanted to be sure to thank the fair board for approving the camping.

“Our loyal fans wanted this and the fair board has listened to their wants,” he said.  “We want to thank them for allowing our great events to get even better in the future.”

This Saturday night, April 27th, The PAS plays host to Night of Destruction #1 featuring Figure 8 Races, Trailer Figure 8 Races, the wildly popular Democross as well as Spectator Races and the “Can You Beat a Redneck Challenge.”  Next week, the track will host the Don Flanders Classic for the Amsoil USAC/CRA Sprint Cars, PAS Senior Sprints and The PAS Young Gun Sprint Cars.
