SELINSGROVE, Pa. – Selinsgrove Speedway will present the Seventh Annual Roadrunner 20 plus a complete program of 358 sprint car, late model, and pro stock racing at 7 p.m. this Saturday, June 1. Track gates will open at 5 p.m.

Tentatively, time trials and a B-main will be the format for qualifying for the roadrunner division’s only extra-distance race of the season that pays $500 to win and the championship trophy sponsored by The Middleburg IGA.

Ray Rothfuss of Muncy won the inaugural Roadrunner 20 in 2007.  Other previous winners include Keith Bissinger of Orangeville (2008), Ricky Bender of Jolliett (2009), Scott Dunham Jr. of Selinsgrove (2010), Brad Mitch of McClure (2011) and defending winner Bob Bussey of Northumberland.

In the roadrunner standings, three-time winner John Fowler Jr. of Montandon leads by 90 points over defending champion and two-time winner Bussey. Brian Johnson of Ashland, a two-time winner this season, is currently third in the point standings.

Jason Shultz of Carlisle leads the standings in the A&A Auto Stores 358 sprint car division by 50 points over one-time 360 sprint car winner TJ Stutts of Liverpool. Defending champion and two-time winner Pat Cannon of Etters trails Shultz in third by 160 points.

In the Jeff’s Auto Body & Recycling Center late model standings, two-time winner Dylan Yoder of Selinsgrove holds a 40-point lead over six-time defending champion and two-time winner Jeff Rine of Danville. Jim Yoder of Selinsgrove is in the third position and trails his son Dylan by 195 points.

Troy Miller of Tower City leads his son Shaun Miller of Tower City by 100 points entering this weekend’s Byers’ Built Engines pro stock race. Two-time winner Kyle Bachman of Selinsgrove trails by 150 points in the third position.

Selinsgrove Raceway Park will present a program of go kart and micro sprint car racing at 7 p.m. this Friday, May 31.  In the Selinsgrove Ford 270 micro sprint cars, defending champion and four-time winner Tyler Snook of Beavertown leads the point standings over Nick Aucker of Selinsgrove.
